Booking Conditions

You can do it online or by filling out the reservation form that we will send you upon request. To receive it, please write to info@malagaplus.com. At the time of booking, a deposit of 200 € (50% of the total amount if a visa is required) will be required to receive the confirmation of the course. When sending the booking form you have to commit yourself to the requested services and general conditions. After having received the booking form, we will send you a confirmation of enrollment, a level test to complete and an invoice. A welcome document with additional information and your accommodation details will be sent when the course has been paid in full.

The remaining balance must be paid in full at least four weeks before the start of the course. To avoid additional bank transfer fees we recommend paying in full at the time of registration.

For short notice bookings, i.e. bookings made within 4 weeks prior to the trip, you will have to pay the full amount immediately upon receipt of the invoice.

You may cancel your registration at any time prior to the start of the course. The following cancellation fees will apply:

• 28 days or more before the start of the course: 10 % of the total price, max. 250 € / 200 £ / $ 350 or equivalent.
• Between 15 and 27 days before the start of the course: 25% of the total price, max. 300 € / 250 £ / $ 500 or equivalent.
• Between 1 and 14 days before the start of the course: 50% of the total price, max. 600 € / 500 £ / $ 800 or equivalent.
• Thereafter, 90% of the total fee is required, max. 1,000 € / £ 850 / $ 1250.
• If you wish to cancel / leave after the start of the course, no refund will be made. In case of illness of a family member or something else exceptional the school will issue a service voucher with 1 year validity.

In the event that the school is not able to create a group course due to not having enough students of the same level at the same time, appropriate alternative classes will be offered to ensure the same quality and progress.

• 20 lessons group course = 12 individual or very small group lessons.
• Course of 30 group lessons = 18 individual or very small group lessons.

In the exceptional circumstances that we are forced to cancel your course, all services contracted with Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS services will be refunded.

In order to provide the letter of acceptance required by the embassy for the issuance of a visa, 50% of the total amount must be paid together with an additional, non-refundable fee of 50 € or equivalent (in the USA and Canada this amount is included in the registration fee).

In case of visa refusal, a full refund minus the additional non-refundable fee (50 €) will be returned only if the student provides the refusal letter issued by the embassy at least 14 days before the course date. After this date we will consider the student's participation as confirmed and normal cancellation/booking change charges will apply.

In case the visa has not yet been issued 15 days prior to departure, we strongly recommend that you postpone the course. In this case, you will not be charged the first rebooking fee (evidence of visa refusal is required).

• By bank transfer: The corresponding account number will be on the invoice. All bank charges are to be paid by the student.

• Credit card: If you wish to pay by credit card you must request a credit card authorization from the school, which will be sent to you by e-mail. This authorization must be completed and sent back to the school in order to charge the card.

Neither the agent, nor the operator, nor the school can be held responsible in any way for any accident, illness, loss of personal effects or change in personal circumstances arising at any time before or during the course. Therefore, we recommend that you take out travel insurance in your home country.

Parents of minors agree that neither Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS nor the host family will be liable for any damages or problems caused either negligently or intentionally by their children during their participation in the trips. Parents with minor children acknowledge and accept the laws and normal code of conduct of the country they are visiting.
